Woad (Isatis tinctoria) is a plant with natural dying properties, at the same time it is an invasive species that pushes domestic plants out, conservationists need to pull it out. We aim to collect woad in protected areas around Brno to create environmentally conscious dye balls that we will use to create traditional textile dyes. The fabric will be later used by participants to design and make a garment. The whole process as well as the resulting designs will be presented as an exhibition and fashion show.
